Last week I got some interesting test results back. Included in the GI test results was the prescence of several bacterial infections - things that should not be there. So I am once again optimistic that we have found something that will help. I am taking some things to get rid of those I believe the plan is to retest next month.
In the meantime, I am still eating gluten and dairy, making this gluten-free blog VERY boring....

Puffins are not Gluten-Free
I don't know how I missed that the Puffins we have contain oats and therefore are not gluten-free. Even though I know that wheat-free and gluten-free are not the same somehow I still get that mixed up.
Anyway, most varieties of Puffins contain oats. The Honey Rice ones do not but are made on a line that processes wheat so they are not labeling them gluten-free either.
Luckily, I don't like them anyway and did not munch on them while thinking I was gluten-free.

More on Default Dinners
I love my new Default Dinner list . I did not do a good job planning this week and I did not know what we were going to have for dinner tonight and the rest of the week. I don't really feel like going to the store today either.
So I browsed my default dinners blog entries and then took a peek in the freezer and pantry. Now I have a plan for tonight AND tomorrow night, using items that I already have on hand. Tonight we will have vegetable soup and tomorrow we will have pasta with clams. If I don't make it to the store in time, I think I will have what I need to make fried rice the day after that! So wonderful!
BTW, my doctor's appointment is not until next week and then I may be making some more diet changes. I have to admit, I am really enjoying my freedom right now!
